Who is Papa's Workshop?

Playing with sawdust from such an early age formed a passion to build things with my own hands.  Eventually, I would follow in my father's footsteps and build houses as well.  For all of my career, I have been involved in construction through selling building materials but I have always found time to "play" in my workshop.  During the pandemic, I found some extra time and Papa's Workshop LLC was formed.

Our basic idea was to create homemade items, such as candles, soaps, and small woodworking items to sell at craft fairs and such.  From the beginning, I also had the idea to reach out to schools and other organizations to offer our homemade items for sale as fundraising opportunities.

Papa's Workshop would like to remember co-owner Lee Ann Ussery, who passed away Dec. 18, 2024, after battling pancreatic cancer.

Lee Ann was an important part of our business. She was truly the inspiration for our products. She enjoyed meeting people at every show. Her smile was contagious and she is dearly missed.

In memory of Lee Ann, we have launched a small collection to remember her by.

Please feel free to shop the collection below!
